I was born and raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn. While it is one of the most notorious neighborhoods in New York my parents kept me focused in school and out of trouble. While in college I was introduced to the blogging world and created my own Hip Hop blog called RealTalkNY. I had no industry connections, worked alone, and didn’t have any funding or expensive equipment. I did the best with what I had and made it a point to be consistent. While still attending school and working a part time job I still managed to spend countless hours daily updating the blog and attending events to provide exclusive content. My persistence eventually paid off and the site went on to gain millions of hits along with millions of views on youtube. My site gained enough recognition to get access to interview major Hip Hop artists such as, J. Cole, Big Sean, 50 Cent, Nas, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Ludacris, Jeezy, Jermaine Dupri, Swizz Beatz and more. Over the years I’ve done several interviews, attended various music video shoots, album release parties and concerts. One of my past YOUTUBE CHANNELS
has over 39 million views to date.
As the site became more popular I was finally able to begin traveling the world. My first flight out the country was to Jamaica for Sean Kingston and Nicki Minaj’s “DUTTY LOVE” video shoot. I later went on to go to Europe for the first time while working with the rapper Fabolous. I was hired for online marketing for his “Loso’s Way” album and provided photography and videography services. So I took photos and produced a recap for his trip to PARIS for an international basketball tournament. I went on to take many more international trips on my own for leisure. My interest in seeing the world grew greater as I matured.
Now I’m at the point where I’m more more focused on travel and lifestyle content rather than on music. So far I’ve visited 35 countries and I have several more on my bucket list. I strive to go beyond just getting a great picture for Instagram. I enjoy experiencing cultural festivals around the world and exploring exotic places outside of the usual tourist zones. I hope to continue to see the world and bring you all along for the ride, sharing amazing photos, videos, and travel tips along the way.
